Where to find RM1.00 char kuey teow?
While I was walking very fast I saw the banner stated RM1 best local Penang Char Kuey Teow. This was at IKANO, the banner was in front of Seri Penang Restaurant. I was caught by surprise by it and definitely not a gimmick advertisement. Seri Penang serves RM1 Penang Char Kuey Teow during weekedays (Mon-Fri), from 3-6pm only.
At that time when I saw the promotion banner was at 5.45pm. I quickly enter the restaurant and order. When the food arrived, I look at it and thought this is worth it. The portion is normal as the normal price and it serves hot. The taste is OK but not the best. I have tasted much nicer one. But then….RM1.00 it is still worth for our tummy.
Seri Penang Restaurant is right opposite of Starbucks at Ikano Power Center.

Yes, me and my family member went they twice for the RM1 Char Kuey Teow last month. Right now they have Penang Curry Laksa for just RM1.00!!!
