Busy Morning

Published by Stephanie Kok under Talking Corner

I woke early ahead of Naomi today so that I can continue the packing.  We are going home to Melaka then JB, total about 14days trip.  Yesterday night packing moment was horrible because Naomi is so cranky and keeps on crying.  I think she is exhausted after our evening walk at the lake.

I was trying to pack light but after looking at it, I think I bringing to much of stuff.  Things like, the beans for cooking, biscuits, bowls and cutlery, some fruits and sweets.  Maybe because I am going to Melaka, automatically I’ll pack extra things. Hmmm…

Well, I will be away from 2nd July until 12th July 2009.  See you guys later!

Like looking at rings

Published by Stephanie Kok under Shopping, Talking Corner

When ever I get a change to drop in any jewelry shop, I will definitely browse through their rings section.  Ah…I like to look at wedding bands and engagement rings. It is simply stunning. I like rings with simple cut and stylish sapphire on it. My wedding band is with a cute little sapphire in the inner ring. *wink* I will normally skip yellow gold and go for white gold or platinum.

I told hubby I want a ring as a gift, now I will have to wait for the next occasion. :P  Maybe our next wedding anniversary gift.

Rakuzen Kitchen at Desa Park City

Published by Stephanie Kok under Food & Beverage

First time experience at Rakuzen Kitchen at Desa Park City is not a pleasant one.  Although the ambiance is comfortable but the food is not what I expected.  I know it is Father’s Day, they are busy but that does not mean that they can neglect the food deliciousness and food presentation.

My Sukiyaki meal was served in a tray that has spilled soup on it.  My hubby’s ordered Yakiniku Set and the meal was served cold.  I am disappointed with the dining experience.  Oh well, maybe if I really want to dine at Rakuzen Kitchen again, I should skip the peak hours to have better meal at the restaurant.  Agree?

Rakuzen Kitchen at Desa Park City

Personally, I know Japanese concept on food is about Hospitality, Deliciousness and Cleanliness, as for Rakuzen Kitchen they have failed the deliciousness part.

A Big Surprise in the Squid Stomach

Published by Stephanie Kok under Talking Corner

I was shocked to see a fish while dissecting the squid.

Looking at the size of the squid, the fish is a little too big for it, right? Maybe it is a greedy squid.

Choosing a perfect picture

Published by Stephanie Kok under Talking Corner

I think some of us or maybe most of us will choose or edit picture before we post it up.  For sure we don’t want to show the whole wide world our flabby tummy and arms.  Really thanks to who ever invented digital camera and now we can retake any shots that we think is not good enough.

Personally, when I started comparing some photographs taken few years back, I looked definitely different.  I am much fatter now. :(  After reading liporexall review, it still can’t convince me to lose weight by eating diet pills. Hubby said, the best way is to exercise.

I need to eat moderately, be more selective on food and then swim more.  Hope one day I can have a perfect picture with out and extra pound.

Going for horseback riding

Published by Stephanie Kok under Talking Corner

When I was little, dad always brought me to the Zoo and then let me ride on a little pony.  At that time no need special apparel or a helmet to ride on it.  The experience is unforgettable.

Few years back a friend invite me to join the horse riding club and have a proper training to be an equestrian.  I know it is an expensive sport and the equestrian apparel is not cheap. Further more I don’t have time for that so I rejected.

But I am sure if I want to ride a horse for fun, I can always do it.  I know in Langkawi and Sabah they have special tours riding on a horse.
