I like Desa Park City

September 8th, 2008

Everytime I go to Desa Park City I wish I can have a home there. The place is clean, spacious; plenty of trees, windy and the houses are pretty.

Desa Park Waterfront is a very convenient place. There are restaurants and cafe, supermarket, clinic, laundry, hardware shop and many more.

I like the playground, it is clean with modern things to play and also open space that allows us to play kite.

Now, everyday dreaming to have a home in Desa Park City. :P

The washing machine is playing dead!

September 7th, 2008

We have 2 washing machines at home. This particular heavy duty machine was given to us by William’s sister. We have been using it for almost 2 years plus 7 years by William’s sister so total 9 years of service.

Last Friday, this machine decided to play dead. There is no power when I press “Power” button. So I called Weng Seng Specialist to send someone to repair the washing machine. After a few checking and found out the faulty we were quoted RM568 to change the spare parts!

The following day the machine is ready and they send it back. But when I want to wash clothes, there is still no power supply!!!!

Geez, I wonder why they never test the machine before sending it back to me and worst they collected RM568 cash!

I have to wait till Monday to contact them. Hope I will not scold them with harsh words. Lousy repairs company! :|

Is she my baby?!

August 29th, 2008

When William and I found out that our baby blood type is “O”, we gave each other a weird look. But we are very sure that she is our baby because William tail along the doctor from labour room to the nursery and hang out in the nursery to take photos and learn how to feed baby.

So how can our baby blood type is “O”? Her daddy is “A” and mommy is “B”…

We are so curious about her blood type and thinking maybe we shall have a DNA testing but then when we spoke to the doctor about it, she explained to us. After a long explanation, we finally understand. It is possible but rare to have “O” blood type for our baby case.

So…she is indeed a special baby! :)

Seating on toilet bowl

August 29th, 2008

Every time I go to public toilets I will see children seating on the toilet bowl for wee wee or poo poo and I feel worry for their mothers. Their kids might catch some bacteria or germs from seating on public toilet. I know all public toilets in Malaysia are not clean properly with antiseptic to kill germs. Especially the seats, it is not clean frequently.

I will prefer my child to choose the squatting toilet instead of the seating ones.

How about you?

Buy or Rent?

August 29th, 2008

I was doing some calculation about buying a house. Then I read an article which really helps us to decide whether to buy or rent a place.

These are what I found out:-

  • If our salary is enough for us to make mortgage payment, then we buy, if not we rent.
  • If we planning to stay at this area for a while then is better to rent, if permanently then good to own a place.
  • If it is recession time, it is better to rent.
  • If the cost of living here is average buying a house is an option.

If your decision is to have your own place, you can get a free mortgage quotes online.

Personally, I wanted to rent a place but William wants to buy, so we see how it goes. Hope to find a place soon.
